Job Description

• Prepare and deliver accurate monthly financial and management accounts and financial reports.
• Analyse and interpret financial data to support decision‑making processes.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Monitor and manage financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure financial compliance and accuracy.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Ensure the adherence to financial regulations and company policies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A professional accounting qualification or equivalent experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in financial systems and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Sage.
• Experience in the industrial or manufacturing industry is advantageous.
• A proactive approach to managing tasks and meeting deadlines.
