Design Engineer

Design Engineer We are currently representing a leading engineer company based in the Newry area who due to continued growth are recruiting for a Design Engineer to join their team. They have went from strength to strength over the past number of years and are now looking to add to their existing product range and enter in to new markets.

Main Responsibilities:

Designing new and developing improvements to the companys existing product portfolio using 3D modelling software. Providing solutions for the development of new products. Produce full manufacturing drawings and Bill of Materials. Reduce manufacturing costs through improved design and standardization of parts throughout the range of machines working with the production and purchasing departments. Be involved in new product design To be considered for this role:
You will have a degree in Engineering with a minimum grade of 2:2 Have a good level of understanding in solid-works. Ideally you will have 1 - 2 years experience in mechanical design. Most importantly you will have a great attitude towards work and eager to kick start your career with an industry leader.
