Quality Engineer

MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Quality Engineer for our Lisburn based manufacturing client. This position is immediately available and offered on a contract basis. Our global client serves customers within the power and utilities industries worldwide with market leading and innovative technology solutions. We're looking for a hands-on, technically strong Quality Engineer to drive quality excellence across our clients manufacturing value streams in Lisburn.

In this role, you will:
In this pivotal role, you'll ensure customer requirements are fully embedded and consistently delivered, while driving continuous improvement across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) You will support quality engineering activities within products and processes to enhance performance and reduce the cost of poor quality. Working cross-functionally with internal teams, suppliers, and customers, you'll champion compliance, elevate customer experience, and help deliver true operational excellence.

The successful candidate will have:
Technical/engineering Degree or equivalent experience gained in a Quality Engineering/Manufacturing role, with a good knowledge in applying problem solving, quality and lean tools/ techniques. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications, along with an understanding of manufacturing processes. Excellent communication skills and problem solving skills, with proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
