About Us: Join our dynamic Global Services Department HQ regional team in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. We are a highly skilled and dedicated team committed to delivering high‑quality, efficient high voltage monitoring solutions and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Role Overview: We are seeking a university placement student to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate and detailed engineering drawings for customer projects.
- Develop and maintain technical specification documents and checklists.
- Ensure all designs, such as hydraulic flange fittings, meet mechanical integrity and safety standards.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and other departments to ensure project requirements are met.
- Support the implementation of HV monitoring solutions by providing technical expertise and assist in troubleshooting and resolving customer issues related to project designs.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience with CAD software packages (Solid‑Edge preferably) including creating 2D technical drawings.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and develop within a professional engineering environment.
