Walmer Site - Teaching assistants needed for our growing school and increasing pupil numbers!
We welcome applications from individuals who have an interest or experience in working with Additional Sensory Needs (ASN) as this role will likely work with this cohort of pupils.
This role is based at Salisbury Rd, Walmer, Deal CT14 7QJ
.
Hours are: 8.50am to 3.25pm Monday to Friday, term time only plus five INSET days (39 working weeks per year)
Actual Salary
: KSA £19,392 inc. Special Educational Needs Allowance
The successful candidate will work as part of an experienced and highly motivated team in a well-resourced environment. They will work in line with our school values to support individual pupils and classes to access learning in a purposeful and nurturing learning environment. TA positions will be based in a class team but will be required to cover in other classes when required.
We have a strong culture of promoting within and many TAs have moved into HLTA roles and then onto a pathway to become a teacher. The Beacon has strong links with the University of Buckinghamshire and we support TAs to study remotely for a BA (Hons) in Primary Education whilst alongside their paid TA role.
