Content Development and Delivery SME - Hybrid

Team Carney, a dynamic learning development and delivery focused government contractor, is seeking an experienced and degreed Content Development and Delivery SME to support a security focused contract. Our SME Instructors are highly motivated individuals who will assist in designing and delivering instructional content for web-based and/or instructor‑led courses and related training products; and nurture, build and sustain strategic client partnerships.

• Current Personnel Security Clearance at the Top Secret level with SCI
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Instructional Systems Design, Adult Education, Marketing, and other similar fields where tailored customer/consumer content is developed for varied audiences
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience developing eLearning synchronous and asynchronous content for distance‑delivery through strategic and intentional design, writing, optimization, publishing, and promotion codified from customer‑established requirements, goals and content
• Minimum three (3) years progressive experience developing and programming Shareable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM)-conform ant asynchronous eLearning courses using a variety of applications and internet technologies
• Minimum three (3) years experience supporting deployment of asynchronous eLearning courses on Moodle Learning Management System (LMS), Blackboard Learn and/or a similar system
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience with internet protocols such as XML, PHP, HTML, Cascading Style Sheets, Java applets and scripting
• Demonstrated experience with software applications such as JAWS or JAWS Inspect to ensure that content being developed is screen reader accessible
• Experience with software applications such as ANDI or comparable software
• Demonstrated experience with other mediums of content delivery, such as PowerPoint, audio, flash cards, slick sheets, pamphlets, or standard operating procedures
• U.S. Citizen

Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and is based on full‑time status.

Part‑time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represent the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements) and is just one component of Team Carney’s total compensation package for employees. General Salary range for ALL full time company positions: $50,125 - $185,650 annually.
