We are seeking an Assistant Security Account Manager/Investigator to support a key client site in Linthicum, MD
. This role is ideal for a security professional with a strong background in complex investigations and incident resolution. You will lead investigative efforts while supporting daily security operations, ensuring risks are identified, escalated, and resolved through thorough fact‑finding and objective analysis.

You will work closely with the client and senior leadership to conduct high‑quality investigations, document findings, and develop corrective action strategies — while supporting and developing the security team to maintain a high‑integrity, compliance‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities Investigations & Incident Resolution (Primary Focus)
  • Lead and conduct detailed investigations into security breaches, workplace incidents, theft, misconduct, fraud, and policy violations.
  • Gather, preserve, and analyze evidence, including statements, reports, digital logs, and video footage.
  • Interview witnesses and involved parties using professional, impartial investigative techniques.
  • Prepare clear, accurate, and comprehensive investigative reports for senior leadership and client review.
  • Track case progress and maintain organized investigative files.
  • Recommend corrective actions or risk‑mitigation strategies based on findings.
  • Coordinate with law enforcement and regulatory agencies where appropriate.
  • Ensure confidentiality and chain‑of‑custody standards are upheld at all times.
  • Conduct ongoing risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and suspicious patterns.
  • Monitor trends in incidents and provide intelligence‑driven recommendations.
  • Ensure all investigative activities comply with company policy, client expectations, and applicable law.
  • Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews.
Operational & Team Leadership
  • Supervise and support security personnel assigned to the client site.
  • Ensure officers understand incident reporting standards and investigative expectations.
  • Conduct training on documentation, evidence handling, and incident escalation.
  • Maintain professional relationships with client stakeholders and internal leadership.
Communication & Reporting
  • Serve as the primary investigative liaison between the client, security operations, and senior management.
  • Present findings, security trends, and recommendations in written and verbal formats.
  • Maintain high‑quality, accurate, and timely reporting standards.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Associate’s Degree and 3+ years of relevant security or investigative experience, or an equivalent combination.
  • Experience conducting formal investigations or case management strongly preferred.
  • Background in security operations, law enforcement, military, or corporate investigations is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (no points in prior 3 years).
  • Strong interviewing, note‑taking, and investigative documentation skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and remain objective and discreet.
