Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer 3 to support the design, optimization, and sustainment of
secure, high-performance network infrastructures across classified programs. In this role, you’ll be
instrumental in minimizing network latency, maximizing data throughput, and ensuring resilient, scalable
WAN and LAN architectures that support mission-critical operations across the Intelligence Community. Why You’ll Love This Role:

Troubleshoot and resolve advanced network issues using performance monitoring tools, analyzers, and simulators.

Minimize latency and maximize throughput through design analysis, performance monitoring, and dataflow optimization.

Support large efforts involving dynamic requirements while guiding and mentoring junior Network Engineers.
• You’ll Work Across Teams:
Coordinate closely with system engineers, dataflow organizations, and end-customer stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted mission operations. A Day in the Life:
• Analyze network designs, specifications, and documentation to support distributed system functionality.
• Monitor network characteristics such as traffic flow, transmission speeds, packet sizes, and throughput.
• Design, integrate, configure, deploy, test, and maintain network devices, interfaces, and methodologies.
• Implement network solutions supporting server requirements, including load balancing, VPNs, firewall contexts, traffic shaping, VoIP, GRE tunneling, IPSec, IP encryption, MoIP, and NAT.
• Optimize end-to-end system performance and manage mission dataflow.
• Apply network acceleration techniques, such as Riverbed, to enhance performance.
• Configure and maintain network diagrams and accreditation documentation.
• Coordinate with system engineering and dataflow teams to minimize downtime and mitigate system-wide impacts.
• Perform configuration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of network equipment.
• Validate new and existing dataflows and data formats.

• Strong network architecture knowledge and hands-on engineering experience.
• Experience administering network switches and troubleshooting network applications.
• Experience patching and upgrading network devices and applications.
• Hardware installation and structured cabling experience.
• Proficiency working in Linux and Windows environments.
• Ability to resolve complex network problems using analyzers, WAN test equipment, and simulators.
• Experience coordinating across engineering, dataflow, and mission teams.
• Ability to manage assigned tasks and provide guidance to junior Network Engineers. What You Need:

Experience:

Twelve (12) years of experience supporting programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Minimum of three (3) years performing Network Engineer duties within the last three (3) years.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, four (4) additional years of network engineering experience may be substituted.

Certifications:

• IAT Level III baseline certification as defined by DoD 8570.01-M.
• CCNA or CCNP certification required.
• Security+ certification required.
• Clearance:
