We are looking for you to join our team as a PDK Electrical Engineering Manager 2

Job responsibilities include Leading the PDK direction across multiple technologies; interfacing with other foundry roles as a subject matter expert; mentoring PDK/CAD engineers; maintaining documentation and schedules. It is anticipated that, given the size of the functional team, the split between technical and functional duties will be approximately 80/20, on average.

This position requires fulltime on-site work at our Advanced Technology Laboratory (ATL) in Linthicum, MD location or our Annapolis Junction, MD location. As a member of our team you will:

• Lead the PDK direction across multiple technologies.
• Interface with other foundry roles as a subject matter expert.
• Mentor PDK/CAD engineers.
• Maintain documentation and schedules.
• Support a team of 10-15 technical staff in a management role.
• Handle administrative management responsibilities including staffing, performance and compensation management, and career development.
• Lead a team of integrated circuit process development kit developers.
• Review work of other PDK engineers.
• Document and implement best practices.
• Inform stakeholders and program managers for status updates, issue resolution, and overall engineering execution.
• Partner with the program management office to ensure successful execution against cost and schedule targets.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure proper engineering processes and procedures are followed.
• Work with peers and training leads to identify critical skill shortfalls, develop appropriate technical training, and improve team performance.

This position requires fulltime on-site work at our Advanced Technology Laboratory (ATL) in Linthicum, MD location or our Annapolis Junction, MD location.

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 8+ years of experience (or Master of Science degree with 6 years) within a related engineering field.
• Experience with writing design verification rules.
• Demonstrated experience with Cadence Virtuoso environment and DRC/LVS/PEX within Cadence DIVA, Assura or Mentor Graphics Calibre.
• Experience generating scripts (SKILL, Python, PERL, Ocean, Linux Shell, etc.) to provide capabilities within a CAD environment.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and software tools, i.e. Atlassian tool stack – Jira, Confluence.
• Must be willing to work on site 100% of time.
• Limited travel to local Northrop Grumman facilities may be required.
