Business Development Operations Senior Manager – Linthicum, MD campus (Business Development/Capture Team, Multi‑Domain Operations Division).
Responsibilities- Manage a team of three BD Ops analysts and customer engagement representatives, ensuring the development, integration, and delivery of division‑level operations data, information, and products supporting sector reporting requirements, dashboards, metrics, and Salesforce pipeline data.
- Facilitate pipeline reviews with Business Unit and Division leadership, including preparation of readahead materials and delivering insights from pipeline and customer engagement data.
- Support scheduling and execution of BAP Gate Reviews.
- Oversee pipeline data fidelity; produce analysis assessing pipeline health; prepare recommendations for leadership priorities and actions; create and distribute readahead materials for pipeline reviews.
- Serve as the division focal point for trade‑show process and continuous improvement, tailoring experiences for attendees and leadership.
- Lead a team to identify best practices from trade shows and improve overall processes.
- Support meeting and event management, including trade shows and conferences.
- Develop CRM best practices with the Customer Engagement team, driving data fidelity and delivering insights through Salesforce and related tools.
- Ensure CRM data fidelity; develop trade‑show processes (domestic and international); create CRM metrics and insights to improve customer engagements.
- Drive execution of strategic initiatives and projects initiated by MDOD leadership in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
- Prepare leadership for meetings and events with agenda review, data collection, talking points, presentation materials, and logistical support.
- Manage reporting of business development goals and activities; support development of executive‑level presentations.
- Develop BD Ops analysts’ talent and performance; act on operational duties as requested by the Director of MDOD BD/Capture.
- Action‑oriented, meet deadlines; establish a high‑performing team; mentor and develop personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of related professional experience, or master’s degree and 8 years of related experience.
- Experience in business development, operations, program management, or project management.
- Experience leading direct reports.
- Experience with the business acquisition process (BAP) and/or capture management.
- Experience in the aerospace and defense industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with data analysis and executive‑level reporting, presentation, and presence.
- Ability to build rapport and serve as a trusted advisor to the Business Development team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
- Active TS/SCI clearance at the time of application.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.
- Experience with the Northrop Grumman Business Acquisition Process (BAP).
- Experience in business development or capture roles.
- Experience with Salesforce, LX, SharePoint, and Tableau.
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks and projects within critical deadlines.
- Strong data analytic capability and attention to detail and accuracy.
