Director of Recruitment & Business Development

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee and develop the accounting team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily accounting functions
• Drive a timely month‑end close process with a strong hands‑on approach
• Create tools and reporting that enhance understanding of financial metrics and KPIs across the organization
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and other departments to improve planning, forecasting, and cost visibility
• Recruit and develop accounting staff as needed to support department growth
• Lead and participate in process improvement and system optimization initiatives
• Manage the annual financial audit and tax preparation process with Uesco’s external accounting firm
• Become proficient in the company’s ERP system
• Serve as a trusted financial resource internally and externally

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting or industry)
• Experience in a manufacturing or inventory‑based business
• CPA preferred but not required
• Strong understanding of GAAP and relevant accounting standards
• Highly detail‑oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
