We are looking for people that will have the following qualifications and experiences:
Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in a relevant role within the aerospace industry and primary structural systems (ideally both composite design and stress disciplines). You will have full life cycle experience at product level, ideally having been a part of at least 1 aerospace program from conception to production and certification, and you will have familiarity with eVTOL Certification regulations from the TCCA, FAA, and EASA.
Day-to-Day
- Hands on work with product development. Architect, Design and implement the platform architectures of mechanical systems from aircraft to component level
- Design structural and mechanical components for critical aircraft systems including fuselage, propulsion mounts, landing gear, and system housings
- Select and specify materials (e.g., advanced composites, aluminum alloys, titanium, high-performance polymers) based on strength, weight, thermal, and durability considerations
- Support development from concept through detailed design, prototyping, testing, and release to production
- Optimize structures for strength, stiffness, fatigue, and thermal performance
- Interface with suppliers to validate material choices, manufacturing methods, and fabrication constraints
- Participate in failure investigations and root cause analyses to resolve material or mechanical performance issues
- Be an integral part of the team, projecting positive behaviours and influence onto the team
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of the standards and specifications appropriate to the discipline
- Challenge the status quo, bring new ideas to improve engineering quality, productivity and timeliness of delivery
- Enforce standards, ensure rigor, resilience and continuous improvement in design solutions, meeting all regulatory requirements, conforming to specifications, quality and requirements within schedule and budget
- Act as a project integrator and interface between project management and other engineering teams
- Stay up to date with, and implement the latest developments in your field

We are located just outside of Lindsay, in the Kawartha Lakes area of Ontario, Canada. Our team is onsite at our facility, as a group, a minimum of two days per week. We expect the same from you, and we are mindful of what a realistic commute would be to keep you safe and at your best. We offer relocation allowances in appropriate cases.
