Commercial Construction Specialists - OSM

Job Overview

Responsible for various tasks on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and to the specified quality standards. General construction workers work under the supervision of skilled tradespeople and construction managers.

• Material Handling: Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment, and ensure they are stored safely.
• Demolition: Perform demolition work, such as dismantling structures and removing old materials.
• Framing: Help with framing tasks, including installing walls, roofs, and floors, and ensuring they are plumb and level.
• Carpentry: Perform basic carpentry tasks, such as measuring and cutting.
• Safety: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Equipment Operation: Operate construction equipment, such as power tools, forklifts, and small machinery, with proper training and certification.
• Clean-Up: Keep the construction site clean and organized by disposing of waste and debris and maintaining tools and equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and techniques.
• Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects and work in varying weather conditions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
• OSHA certification or safety training is a plus.

• Valid driver's license (if required for the position).
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime.
• Adherence to all local, state, and federal safety regulations.

Work Environment: This position is situated within a clean, quiet, and climate-controlled indoor setting in either Pleasant Grove or Lehi, Utah. Occasional outdoor work may be required which can involve exposure to various weather conditions and physical demands. This position may need to travel between job sites and work in various locations on occasion.
