Part‑time Clothing Clerk - Lindon, Utah Temple
The Clothing Clerk helps create a positive, uplifting experience for temple patrons by laundering, mending, and caring for the clothing and linens used in the temple. The position reports to the Clothing Supervisor and provides guidance to volunteers and service missionaries.
Responsibilities- Operate commercial laundry equipment and prepare clothing and linens for use (including sorting, washing, drying, hanging, pressing, folding).
- Train and oversee volunteers/service missionaries in daily laundry operations.
- Assist patrons with necessary temple clothing, ensuring sufficient inventory and overseeing rental operations.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance on laundry equipment, clean machinery, manage chemicals, and record production.
- At least 1 year of work experience, preferably in laundry, retail, or customer service.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and volunteer management skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well with others.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Physical ability to lift 30 pounds, bend, kneel, stoop, pull, push; climb a step stool/ladder; stand for long periods.
- Basic computer skills.
