This is a hands‑on, working Foreman position responsible for the safe, efficient, and profitable execution of roadwork, excavation, underground utilities, grading, and site development projects.

The Road Foreman plays a critical leadership role in field operations — managing manpower, equipment, production rates, subcontractors, and daily reporting while ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget. This position reports directly to the Project Superintendent and Project Manager and serves as a key representative of S&L on the jobsite.

Who We Are

S&L Inc has been building Utah since the 1970s. As a multi‑million‑dollar heavy civil general contractor operating primarily throughout Salt Lake and Utah Counties, we’ve built our reputation on quality workmanship, reliability, and long‑term relationships.

A large portion of our team has been with us 5, 10, even 20+ years — because we invest in our people and provide real career growth.

At S&L, production is measured against Scope – Budget – Schedule – Job Cost. We equip our teams with modern equipment, integrated GPS technology, and digital project management tools to stay ahead in the field.
