Staff Accountant Opportunity

Overview of the Company

• Located in Long Island, asking the individual to go into the office daily

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Prepare financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Assist with audits and tax preparation.
• Analyze financial data for accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting experience (public or corporate).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite, SAP).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
