Project Interface Manager

The Project Interface Manager oversees all technical, functional, and schedule interfaces between the EPC contractor, subcontractors, vendors, and third parties. This role ensures clear communication, proper documentation, and timely resolution of interface issues to prevent scope gaps, delays, and rework. The position works closely with site leadership and commissioning teams to support efficient execution and successful system turnover.

• Develop and maintain the Interface Management Plan and interface register with the EPC contractor
• Identify, track, and manage technical, schedule, and functional interfaces across all project parties
• Facilitate cross-discipline coordination meetings to resolve interface conflicts
• Coordinate engineering and construction deliverables to ensure proper handoffs
• Escalate critical interface risks to site leadership and project controls
• Support commissioning activities, including interface alignment and system handovers
• Track and verify closure of all interface points prior to project turnover

• 20+ years of experience in project management and industrial construction, including interface coordination
• Strong understanding of EPC project execution and multi-discipline coordination
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction documents, including PFDs, P&IDs, piping plans, elevations, and isometrics
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
