Terms for group leadersThe group leader positions are especially suited for talented, promising researchers with some research experience after the PhD. They are fixed-term (until 31.12.2025), with a salary according to the German public sector (E 14 TV-L). Group leaders receive funding for two PhD students as well as start-up and running costs.
EnvironmentThe groups are embedded into lively and interactive environment of the Cluster of Excellence “Machine Learning – New Perspectives for Science” at the University of Tübingen, the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems and the Leibniz Institut für Wissensmedien. Together, we would like to find out how machine learning can change science and drive those changes forward.
How to applyTogether with the usual documents (cover letter, curriculum vitae, copies of certificates, list of publications) please send your 1 page pitch on how ML will change your scientific discipline (as a single PDF; not exceeding 5 MB) to the Central Office of the Cluster of Excellence (ml) by April 30, 2020
