Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Construction Manager who will be responsible for their areas of expertise. Civil/structural, Mechanical, I&E.

Experience with building a tank farm is highly encouraged. Good plant construction experience.

Job Description

• Project planning and management:
  Create and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure deadlines are met.
• Personnel and contractor oversight:
  Hire and manage staff, and coordinate with and oversee specialized contractors and subcontractors.
• Budget and cost control:
  Monitor and manage project expenses, prepare cost reports, and negotiate contracts.
• Quality and safety assurance:
  Ensure the project adheres to design specifications, quality standards, and all relevant health, safety, and building regulations.
• Communication and reporting:
  Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide progress updates and resolve issues.
• Problem-solving:
  Mitigate risks and solve conflicts that arise during the project.
• Logistics:
  Oversee the ordering and delivery of necessary materials and equipment.

Skills Required

• Expertise in Civil/structural, Mechanical, I&E.
• Experience with building a tank farm is highly encouraged.
• Good plant construction experience.
• Any experience with a food waste plant would be a plus.
• Be able to track progress, billings and other contractors.

Education/Training/Certifications

• No degree required if many years construction experience in a plant.

Additional Requirements

• Scheduled for 5/10's, could go 6/10's

Pay Rate/Salary

• Base Compensation: $100/hr (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location.)
