Human Resources Manager

Description We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is a contract-to-permanent position and requires a dynamic individual who can handle a wide range of responsibilities, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, and workforce development. The HR Manager will collaborate closely with leadership to ensure HR strategies align with organizational goals while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for various roles, including production, skilled trades, administrative, and leadership positions.

- Develop and execute effective strategies for addressing high-volume or seasonal staffing needs.

- Oversee onboarding processes and orientation programs tailored to plant-specific requirements.

- Address employee concerns, mediate workplace conflicts, and provide guidance on corrective actions.

- Partner with management to enhance employee engagement, morale, and retention.

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, maintaining accurate employment records and data.

- Collaborate with safety teams to support workplace safety programs and investigate incidents.

- Administer compensation planning, benefits enrollment, and workers' compensation claims.

- Coordinate training initiatives to address skill gaps and support workforce development.

- Monitor certifications, licenses, and skills matrices to ensure staff qualifications meet operational standards. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience; HR certification is a plus.

- Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience, including employee relations and recruitment.

- Comprehensive understanding of labor laws and workplace safety regulations.

- Proven ability to manage HR operations within a high-volume hourly workforce.

- Strong communication skills with expertise in conflict resolution and coaching.

- Proficiency in HRIS systems, such as ADP Workforce Now, Paylocity, or similar platforms.

- Familiarity with payroll processes and benefit functions.

- Experience developing and implementing onboarding and training programs tailored to organizational needs. Talent Match®
