Caravan Delivery Driver

We are looking to recruit an experienced Caravan Delivery Driver who is reliable, trustworthy, self-motivated and able to work under their own supervision. Your responsibilities will include providing professional transportation of Holiday Homes, locally between our showgrounds, and the showgrounds of other companies.

• Maintain close communication with the Transport Department Admin to ensure that schedules are consistently fulfilled on a weekly basis.
• Maintain roadworthy checks on all the company vehicles that fall under your responsibility. Recording and reporting maintenance issues.
• Loading and unloading static caravans onto the flatbed vehicle trailers, ensuring that the load is secure and road legal for transportation to its destination.
• Working with the Transport Department Admin to plan routes and work to ensure routes submitted to the abnormal loads police are used during transportation.
• Following all the legal requirements of an HGV Driver, recording and uploading data from the Tachograph as required.
• Maintaining a valid HGV Driver's Licence and completing regular training, to always be as qualified as necessary in the role.

• Candidates must be willing to work Monday to Friday throughout the Holiday Season.
• The capability of working alone under their own supervision.
• Full Clean UK Driving Licence, and a full HGV licence.
• Specialist in abnormal load transport skills and safety knowledge.
• Must be willing to work overtime, when the schedule requires early starts.

• Working Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm, with occasional Saturdays when necessary.
