Are you a qualified Electrician looking for a new challenge, with the opportunity to travel across the UK and worldwide?
Tong Engineering is looking to recruit a skilled Electrician to join our team, working on the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of our machinery at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities- Installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery on customer site
- Attending site to carry out repairs and maintenance when required.
- Troubleshooting, fault finding and carrying out repairs.
- Liaising with customers and providing updates on progress.
- Ensuring all work complies with quality management standards.
- Working in line with company Health and Safety procedures at all time
In addition to having an Electrical qualification and experience, the successful candidate will be someone who is a team player and a self-starter who can prioritise, plan, and manage their workload with minimal supervision.
Due to fluctuating business demands, and the need to travel and work in various locations, there is a requirement to work overtime.

- Valid UK Driving Licence (required).
- Forklift, Teleporter and MEWP Licences (Preferable, but full training will be provided to the successful candidate).
- Company vehicle and fuel card.
- Company mobile phone.
- Overtime multipliers of 1.2x hourly rate for hours worked from Monday to Saturday, and 1.4x for hours worked on a Sunday
