Sales Assistants wanted at Yorkshire Trading Company Yorkshire Trading Company are a family owned and run business with 35 stores throughout Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East; a busy E:

Commerce operation and outdoor events teams who trade nationwide.

We now have an opportunity for an additional 4 recruits to join the sales assistant team in our Ripon store.

The positions offered are : 16 hours over 4 days to include weekends on a rota basis and may include some early mornings

Our goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase the company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain a fully stocked store
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
• Welcome and greet customers
• Process sales through our Epos till system – Training given
• Actively involved in receiving deliveries
• Keep up to date with product information
• Accurately describe product features and benefits
• Follow all companies policies and procedures

• Previous retail experience would be beneficial but is not essential as training will be given
• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer service focus
• Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality

• 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata
