Job Title: Life Enrichment Coordinator
Status: Non-Exempt, Full-Time
Pay: $/hour based on experience
Schedule: This position is structured as a 37.5-hour work week, always worked five days per week, with a consistent schedule and occasional adjustments based on department needs.
- Sunday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Monday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (If the employee is needed for a large Friday event, Monday will serve as the alternate day off.)
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Wednesday: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (occasional, for events)
- Saturday: Off

Sedgebrook is recruiting for a hospitality focused Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our team! This position assists in the planning, coordinating and directing a wide range of programs and activities that support the social and recreational needs of residents, alinged with Life Care Services'
Eight Dimensions of Wellness

- Collaborate with the Life Enrichment Manager and residents to plan, coordinate and execute a broad scope of social and recreational activities.
- Promote a healthy community culture for residents using a whole-person wellness model incorporating Emotional, Environmental, Health Services, Intellectual, Social, Spiritual, Physical, and Vocational dimensions.
- Assist residents professionally with program and calendar opportunities.
- Track participation and gather feedback to help determine which programs should continue, be modified, or be retired.
- Drive residents to and from planned recreational events and programs when transportation is needed.
- Coordinate and conduct department orientation for new residents, gathering an shareing interdepartmental information as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required;
Associate's degree preferred. - One year of experience in geriatrics, recreation, or social administration.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and perform basic arithmetic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Canva, and general computer use.
- Comfort using smartphones, tablets, and other internet-connected devices.
- Must possess a valid state driver's license, good driving record, and consent to annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.

- Must be able to:
- Lift, stoop, stretch, and use a stepstool for approximately 60-70% of the workday.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Complete small set-ups independently.
- Assist residents in boarding the bus and with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Demonstrate adequate visual, hearing, and verbal communication abilities.
- Possess a keen sense of smell.
- Work in environments where exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids that may contain HIV and/or HBV, cleaning chemicals, and occasional odors may occur.
