To strengthen our Northern team, we are recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer for our Northern Region, working on projects initially in the Lincoln area.

Works on this site will include:
  • Setting out using total stations, GPS equipment, and to be able to undertake traditional setting out using profiles, batter rail and pegs
  • Read and review construction drawings
  • Undertake basic take-off’s
  • Raising technical queries with designers and other members of the client team
  • Have a good commercial understanding and know the difference between cost and value
  • Carry out relevant inspections and testing to ensure conformance of the works with the design and specification
Are you the person we are looking for?

We are looking for a proactive problem solver and confident communicator who can collaborate effectively with a wide range of professionals.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in earthworks and flood defence projects. A valid CSCS card in the relevant discipline is required, along with a BSc, HND or HNC qualification. Candidates must also hold an SSSTS card, be a member of ICE, and demonstrate a solid understanding of ITPs and quality assurance procedures.

Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving licence is essential, and the successful applicant must be willing to travel throughout the region.
