Payrate: $45.00 - $49.25/hr.

We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. You will contribute to resolving complex engineering challenges and participate in the design and development of our next-generation products. This position requires a background in mechanical design, particularly with injection molded plastics, a high level of proficiency in CREO 3D CAD software, and a solid understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.

• Contribute to the mechanical design of new products—from understanding customer needs and initial concept, through to production and final packaging.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for parts and assemblies using CREO.
• Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to ensure that designs are optimized for production, cost, and quality.
• Design and analyze complex injection molded plastic parts, ensuring performance and efficient, high-yield production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including industrial design, electrical engineering, and manufacturing, to deliver integrated product solutions.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate design performance and reliability.
• Contribute to internal design reviews and collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality outcomes.

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in mechanical design
• Proven experience in Injection Molded part design
• Proficiency in CREO 3D CAD software
• Strong understanding of Design for Manufacturability (DFM)

• Experience with mechanism design
• Experience in designing ruggedized products for harsh environments
• Strong understanding of sustainable design practices
• Advanced understanding of plastic injection molding part design in CREO 3D CAD
