Electronic Technician

Overview

We are an international aerospace, defense, and technologies company currently seeking experienced and motivated candidates to fill out Electronic Technician Position in Lincolnshire, IL.

• Repair and service company’s analytic products to support the three lines of business (High Tech, Fixed, and Portables)
• Perform troubleshooting to component level using electronic tools to include digital voltage meters and other electronic testing tools. (Test fixtures / Software).
• Perform telephone support to customers and distributors to troubleshoot problems in the field.
• Maintain Service Reports / Quotations in database (SAP).
• Maintain Service Database on the HA shared drive to ensure proper customer information.
• Assist and maintain the refurbishment program. (Reconfigure / Calibrate).

• EDUCATION:
  
  Associate Degree of Applied Science in Electronics or Equivalent Military Equivalent to AAS Electronics Degree
• EXPERIENCE:
  
  2 or more years of experience in electro-mechanical system trouble-shooting to sub-assembly levels.
• Capable of reading assembly blue prints, wiring schematics, and configuration specifications.
• Use of specialized test equipment to include oscilloscope, Voltage Meters, etc.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, distributors, co-workers, and other departments within the company.
• Must be computer literate (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Siebel.
• Able to lift 40 lbs
• Good Vision and manual Dexterity
• Work within a manufacturing facility

• Pay: DOE
• Monday-Friday:
  Day Shift
• 6+ month contract period
• Must be able to pass a background check.
