Join our team as a Night Ungraded Operative at Noble Foods Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, unload and check incoming deliveries against paperwork and electronic systems.
  • Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and appropriate labelling.
  • Carry out basic stock checks, shelf replenishment and rotation (FIFO/LIFO as required).
  • Operate manual handling equipment safely (trolleys, pallet trucks); training provided for powered equipment where applicable.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and compliant working area in line with health, safety and quality standards.
  • Record discrepancies, damage or missing items and communicate with supervisors to resolve issues.
  • Assist with loading vehicles and support the nightly dispatch process to meet deadlines.
  • Follow company security procedures for night operations and report any concerns promptly.
Essential Skills and Experience
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution centre or logistics environment is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided.
  • Ability to work overnight hours reliably and flexibly as rota demands.
  • Good attention to detail and basic numeracy for accurate order fulfilment.
  • Physically fit and able to perform lifting and repetitive tasks in line with manual handling guidance.
  • Effective verbal communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic IT literacy to use handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
  • Commitment to health and safety, including PPE use and safe working practices.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Forklift/powered pallet truck licence (desirable, not essential).
  • Previous experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanners.
  • Certifications in manual handling, COSHH awareness or basic first aid.
