Class 2 Driver – Flatbed Vehicle

Location: Lincoln

Pay Rate: £16.34 to £18.31 per hour (Pay: £16.34 Basic - £1.97 Holiday Pay = £18.31 total per hour)

Shifts: Monday to Friday (05:30 – 15:00)

Driver Type: Class 2

Experience: 12 months class 2 experience – essential

Fifth Wheel Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Drivers in Lincolnshire to work with our client, who provide all types of business with commercial waste disposal and recycling.

Previous experience driving a Flatbed and working in the waste industry would be beneficial.

This role may require you to complete a Driving Assessment before you can be allocated a shift.

• Driving and operating a Class 2 flatbed vehicle
• Collecting & delivering food waste bins from different client locations across Lincolnshire
• This is a lone working role
• You will be required to climb in and out of the vehicle up to 30 times per shift
• Occasional heavy lifting required

You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi‑tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
