As an Apprentice Highways Maintenance Operative you’ll act as a caretaker of our roads. You’ll repair potholes, clear drains, and ensure road signs and markings are visible. It’s about keeping our highways safe and operational, helping you learn practical maintenance skills and how to use various tools and machinery.

We’re looking for individuals who are eager to learn and gain hands‑on experience. No formal qualifications are required for our Level 2 Apprenticeship, which offers a blend of practical, on‑the‑job training alongside structured learning to develop key skills.
