Are you a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Associate seeking a fulfilling opportunity to make a positive impact on the health and well‑being of your community? We are excited to offer a permanent position for an experienced Nurse Associate at our New Coningsby Surgery.
The post is 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 08:00–18:30.
We are supportive of flexible working and welcome a conversation at the interview about arrangements that suit your lifestyle.
You will be supported by a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. You’ll work alongside GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, HCAs, and Phlebotomists, with additional support from our skilled managerial, administrative, and reception teams.
As a Nurse Associate, you will provide high-quality care to patients, supporting the nursing team in delivering general practice services and assisting in the management of long‑term conditions.
Main duties of the job- Supporting routine immunisation schedules
- Assisting with cervical screening
- Supporting contraception reviews and family planning services
- Assisting with travel vaccinations
- Supporting chronic disease management
- Conducting dementia reviews
- Supporting cancer care reviews
- Health promotion and disease prevention activities
- Supporting clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives
Candidates must have experience in these areas to be considered.

Person Specification Experience Essential- Knowledge of routine immunisation schedules and ability to support vaccine administration.
- Understanding of cervical screening procedures and ability to assist in screenings.
- Familiarity with contraception reviews and family planning services, providing appropriate support.
- Ability to assist with travel vaccinations, including understanding vaccination requirements.
- Competence in supporting chronic disease management through patient care and monitoring.
- Experience in conducting dementia reviews, assessing patient needs and supporting care plans.
- NMC Registered Nurse Associate
- Qualified to deliver routine immunisations
- Qualified in cervical screening
