Job Description:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Locum Practice Nurse to join a well-established GP surgery. The surgery is looking for a dedicated and reliable practice nurse to start ASAP and work on an ongoing basis. System One training is essential, and the role offers flexibility on the days worked and working hours, making it an ideal position for those seeking work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Providing general practice nursing duties, including immunisations, health checks, and wound care

* Managing chronic disease clinics (e.g., diabetes, asthma)

* Supporting GPs with patient consultations and assisting with health assessments

* Administering vaccinations and injections

* Updating patient records accurately in System One

* General treatment room duties

Requirements:

* System One trained (essential)

* At least 6 months of UK-based experience working as a Practice Nurse in a GP surgery setting

* Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload

* Excellent communication skills and patient care focus

* Flexible on the days and hours worked
