Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location: Lincolnshire

Questech Recruitment are recruiting for a mechanical maintenance engineer to join the team at one of our well established clients based out of Hemswell.

Shift Pattern/

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 07.30- 16:00

Salary:
£38,628 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensuring all equipment is maintained both proactively and reactively to deliver safe and reliable operation in line with planned production requirements.

* Responsible for setting up blades and keeping the same high standard of tolerance.

* Responsible for installing blades keeping the same high standard and tolerance.

* Lubrication of all assets.

* Responsible for maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping (within specified areas).

* Practice & encourage others to deliver the highest standards of Health & Safety at all times and ensure that all plant and ancillary equipment is maintained to these high standards.

* Ensure all recording systems for work completion are correctly compiled with all relevant information detailed.

* Assist the Area Engineering Supervisor in minimising machine down time by proposing & introducing improved maintenance programmes & continuous improvement ideas.

* Responsible for timely completion of all relevant plant PPM schedules and to provide support for all site wide PPM programs.

* Ensure good communication avenues are prevalent between the Engineering Teams & the Operational Teams.

* Work as part of a multi-functional Mechanical / Electrical on-site Team.

Key

Skills Required:

* Experience of fault finding, breakdown repairs, completion of Preventative Maintenance routines on Mechanical aspects of various manufacturing production equipment, Continuous Improvement activities

* Light Welding and Fabrication (Desirable).

Experience:

* NVQ level 3 in a Mechanical Engineering discipline or apprentice trained & qualified.

* Minimum 3-5 years’ experiences in a maintenance function within a fast-paced environment.
