Overview
We are currently seeking an Assembly Operative to join a manufacturing company, represented by Pertemps Network Group, based in Lincoln.
What will I be paid?Hourly rate: £12.50 per hour.
What hours will I be working?Monday to Friday - 06:00 to 14:20
Responsibilities- Assembling metal components to precise specifications
- Reading and accurately interpreting drawings and instructions
- Utilising a variety of hand tools, machinery, and equipment
- Collaborating with departments such as stores and dispatch to ensure smooth operations
- Working independently across various production areas to meet daily or weekly schedules
- Reporting any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly
- Competent English and numeracy skills
- Excellent manual dexterity and proficiency with tools and equipment
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Experience in assembly, repair, or maintenance of mechanical/electronic parts (desirable)
- Manufacturing background (preferred)
- Reliable transport to reach site
