Assembly Operative

We are currently seeking an Assembly Operative to join a manufacturing company, represented by Pertemps Network Group, based in Lincoln, renowned for being a world leader in their field.

As an Assembly Operative, you’ll be a vital part of the dedicated production team, meticulously crafting and assembling a variety of products to exacting quality standards.

This is a great opportunity to join a respected local company. Permanent contracts will be offered to staff after successfully completing the probationary period. This is usually after 12 weeks.

What will I be paid?
Hourly rate: £12.50 per hour.

What hours will I be working?
Monday to Friday – 06:00 to 14:20

What will I be doing as an Assembly Operative?

• Assembling metal components to precise specifications
• Reading and accurately interpreting drawings and instructions
• Utilising a variety of hand tools, machinery, and equipment
• Collaborating with departments such as stores and dispatch to ensure smooth operations
• Working independently across various production areas to meet daily or weekly schedules
• Reporting any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly

• Competent English and numeracy skills
• Excellent manual dexterity and proficiency with tools and equipment
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Experience in assembly, repair, or maintenance of mechanical/electronic parts (desirable)
• Manufacturing background (preferred)
• Reliable transport to reach site
