Location: Nettleham

We are seeking a proactive and organised Project Support Officer to work closely with the Project Manager in delivering key project milestones. This role provides essential support across planning, coordination, documentation, and communication, helping ensure projects are delivered on time, to scope, and within budget.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Supporting the development, monitoring, and maintenance of project plans using tools such as Gantt charts.
  • Preparing project documentation and reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with PRINCE2 methodologies.
  • Managing project risks, issues, change control, and configuration management as directed.
  • Coordinating resources, tracking progress, and initiating corrective actions when required.
  • Liaising with senior officers, partners, and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Conducting research and providing timely information that supports decision‑making.
  • Delivering clear and confident communications, including updates, minutes, and project‑related briefings.
  • Ensuring project documentation is up‑to‑date and compliant with force standards.
  • Working closely with portfolio and programme areas to avoid duplication and maintain alignment across projects.
  • Developing and implementing a Communications Strategy to keep stakeholders informed on progress and outcomes.
