Basic Salary: £41,200

Working Hours:

Week 1 - Monday-Friday - 07:00-16:00
Week 2 - Monday-Thursday - 07:00-16:00 & Friday - 07:00-12:00
Week 3 - Monday-Friday - 07:00-16:00 + Saturday Morning 09:00-12:00

For the HGV Mechanic role you will need to have prior HGV Technician experience working within a dealership or fleet maintenance environment.
Responsibilities of an HGV Technician

· Routine vehicle maintenance to DVSA standards.

· Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for MOT inspection.

· Diagnosing of vehicles diagnostic equipment.

· Good housekeeping and H&S requirements.

· Ensure all paperwork is completed.

· Assist the VMU Co-ordinator / FLM to liaise with the Transport and Logistics departments about vehicle availability.

Skills and Qualifications of an HGV Mechanic

· Level 3 / City & Guilds or NVQ qualified technician

· HGV licence is an advantage

· Good interpersonal and communication skills

· Previous experienced gained in a HGV fleet maintenance operations (desirable)
