Contracts and Procurement Solicitor

Service Care Solutions is working alongside a bustling local authority, based in Lincolnshire, which is looking for a Commercial Contracts and Procurement Solicitor to join their team. This assignment is offered for an initial three‑month period, with a strong possibility of extension for the right candidate and can be done on a largely remote basis.

Contracts and Procurement Solicitor

Lincolnshire – remote

Umbrella Rate: £50‑£55 per hour
PAYE Inc. Rate: £44.10‑£48.44 per hour

Provide a wide range of commercial legal services to the Local Authority, partner District Councils and the recently established Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority.

Handle a varied caseload of services contracts, IT and technology contracts, framework agreements, collaborative procurements, grant agreements and subsidy control matters.

Support the wider contracts and procurement team when required.

• A minimum of 3 years’ PQE in Contracts and Procurement law as a solicitor in England and Wales (with a current practising certificate).
• Demonstrable experience in commercial contracts and procurement within a local authority setting.
• Ability to work autonomously and contribute effectively within a small team.

• Remote working.
• Weekly pay – the rate offered will depend on experience and interview performance.
• Flexible hours.
