• You will be a member of the Payments Team, working in Financial Services, and contributing to the delivery of a high quality Payment service. Responsible for the review, registration, scanning and subsequent processing of invoices authorised for payment -
• Attention to detail is essential to ensure VAT recovery is applied where appropriate, queries are promptly and professionally investigated and the potential for incorrect payment/fraud is minimised.
• You must possess excellent communication skills, be able to work in a team, recognise the importance of team working. You must be able to work under pressure contribute to the achievement of team goals. It is also important that the person within this role demonstrates a strong performance against the Trust Behaviour Framework.

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has been granted teaching hospital status, after demonstrating evidence to significant teaching commitment. From now on it will be known as United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Pilgrim Hospital is situated in beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.

Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.

Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.

This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.

The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).

• oGCSE Maths and English or equivalent
• oECDL or equivalent
• oAAT Foundation Level or equivalent finance-based qualification / experience

• oExperience of IT including spreadsheets and computerised financial ledgers.
• oFamiliar with high volume data input into a computer system requiring both speed and accuracy.
• oRelevant experience of working in a finance department

• oWorking knowledge of MS Office products, specifically spreadsheets and e-mail
• oRelationship Building and team working skills.
• oAble to work under pressure, prioritise and plan own workload to achieve team goals.
• oCustomer care experience / skills
• oDemonstrates a strong performance against the Trust's values in respect of Framework
• oKnowledge of VAT principles and application within the NHS

• oPunctuality
• oAble to be flexible with working patterns, which may include occasional evenings and weekends as determined by the needs of the service & key deadlines.
