Overview
Are you passionate about making a positive difference to the long term health of children and young people of Lincolnshire? This role provides an opportunity to directly support the Public Health agenda across Lincolnshire, protecting our children and young people from preventable diseases. LCHS School Aged Immunisation Service is commissioned to deliver all vaccinations to the school aged population across Lincolnshire.
An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a skilled, motivated individual with relevant experience to support service delivery of these programmes. You will be expected to work flexibly across the county to deliver the immunisation and vaccination programme under the direction of the Professional Advisor for School Aged Immunisations. You will be expected to deliver vaccinations in line with local and national policies and procedures aligned with the contracted service offer.
You will be responsible for using evidence based practice to plan and deliver the programme in a variety of settings for children and young people ensuring that you keep practice up to date. This post requires that you have the ability to travel between locations countywide to carry out your work and to attend training and meetings; daily access to transport is therefore essential.

Why join usAt LCHS, we know diversity fosters creativity and innovation. We are committed to equality of opportunity, to being fair and inclusive, and to being a place where all belong. We therefore particularly encourage applications from candidates who are likely to be underrepresented in LCHS’ workforce. LCHS recognises the increasing demand for more flexibility in working practices in order to accommodate the personal goals and commitments that employees experience at different stages during their working lives.
Flexible working opportunities such as part-time working, compressed hours, job shares, and hybrid working models can help staff to balance their personal and work commitments. Arrangements can be put in place if it can be shown that the needs of the individual can be balanced with those of the service and the impact on other team members, enabling the Trust to recruit and retain skilled staff, raise staff morale, reduce absenteeism and respond to changing service needs more effectively.
