Job Summary

The Neurodivergence Coordinator is a specialised non‑clinical role designed to support patients navigating the diagnostic pathways for ADHD and Autism. You will be the primary point of contact for patients considering a diagnosis, guiding them through pre‑assessment screening, managing the administrative aspects of referrals, and providing compassionate support while they wait.

Main Duties of the Job
  • Pre‑Diagnostic Support & Screening:
    Conduct initial consultations (telephone or face‑to‑face) with patients enquiring about neurodevelopmental conditions.
  • Explain the diagnostic pathway, including NHS waiting times and “Right to Choose” providers, and manage expectations realistically.
  • Distribute and assist patients in completing necessary self‑assessment tools (e.g., ASRS‑v1.1, WEISS, AQ‑10/50).
  • Gather necessary collateral information, such as school reports, family history forms, and observer reports.
