Acute Female Inpatient Services – Nursing Post
We have an exciting opportunity to work in mental health services. We are looking for an empathetic and enthusiastic individual with a passion for working in acute female inpatient services. This vital role involves interacting with patients on a daily basis and helping them meet their daily needs.
Key Responsibilities- Interact with patients daily and help them meet their daily needs.
- Monitor patients’ mental state and report findings to registered nursing colleagues.
- Work on a rota‑based system, including rotating nights, weekends, bank holidays and on‑call duties.
- Provide clinical leadership of the nursing team, delivering care for people with severe mental illness.
- Work within the policies, protocols and clinical procedures of Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Trust.
- Deliver a user‑focused, accessible and responsive acute nursing service that is safe, supportive and competent for people experiencing acute mental health problems.
- Assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care within agreed limitations.
- Provide managerial supervision to members of the team.
- Undertake managerial duties in the absence of the Ward Manager/Clinical Lead.
Previous experience is desirable but not mandatory; full induction and mandatory training will be provided.
Full‑time post with rota nights, bank holidays. Additional training and career‑progression opportunities are available.
