This role offers you ownership of the finance function reporting into an experienced CFO who will nurture and develop you to achieve your full potential. Provide strategic financial leadership across the University, influencing senior management and committees. Oversee all accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and high standards across budgets, forecasts, and reports. Lead and develop a professional finance team, fostering growth, innovation, and operational excellence during a period of change. Manage external audits, pension arrangements, insurance, and financial systems to maintain robust controls. Develop financial reporting procedures and input into financial decisions, projects, and capital investments.

To succeed in this role, you will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with extensive experience in financial management and reporting, including annual statutory reporting and systems development.
