Finance Business Partner

The Opportunity We’re partnering with a well-established, high-growth retailer in the Midlands to appoint a commercially focused Finance Business Partner. This is a key role supporting operational and commercial leaders in a fast-paced retail environment where finance plays a central role in driving performance and decision-making. You’ll be hands-on, close to the numbers, and equally comfortable on the shop floor (or with trading teams) as you are in the boardroom.

Key Responsibilities Act as a trusted Finance Business Partner to senior operational and commercial stakeholders Provide insight and challenge on trading performance, margin, costs and profitability Lead budgeting, forecasting and reforecasting for assigned business areas Deliver clear, actionable analysis to support commercial decisions and growth initiatives Monitor KPIs and identify risks and opportunities in a high-volume retail environment Support investment appraisals, new initiatives and business cases Drive continuous improvement in reporting, insight and financial processes About You Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) Proven experience in a retail environment (essential) Strong background in commercial finance / business partnering Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth setting Confident communicator with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders Commercially curious, proactive and solutions-focused Why Join?
