Are you passionate about making a difference in supporting secondary school students in overcoming barriers to learning?
At St Peter and St Paul Catholic Voluntary Academy, part of Our Lady of Our Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, we are looking for an experienced, committed driven Pastoral Assistant to join our supportive and friendly team. This fixed-term role until 31 August 2026, full-time role is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the academic, social, and emotional development of our students within a welcoming school environment grounded in Catholic virtues.

As Pastoral Assistant, You Will- Work 37 hours per week, term time only.
- Play a role in fostering students' well‑being and academic success.
- Work closely with Head of Year, senior leader, and external agencies.
- Design and implement tailored support programmes to improve behaviour, attitudes, and engagement.
- Develop one-to-one mentoring relationships and group interventions to support students' learning and personal development.
- Coordinate with external agencies and families to address individual needs and enhance social and emotional well‑being.
- Assist with the smooth transition of student at key stages in their educational journey.
- Maintain accurate records, including safeguarding-related actions, and uphold confidentiality in all interactions.
- Actual salary of £22,415 – £23,506 per annum (Band 3 Scale Point 6-9)
