7:15am-5:00pm (reduced hours during school holidays)
Basic Salary: £33,500-£40,000 (depending on experience)
Realistic First-Year OTE: £45,000-£60,000+ (uncapped commission)
Heart of Supply is a growing education recruitment agency built on strong relationships, high standards, and consistency. We work closely with schools and trusts across Lincolnshire, delivering reliable supply solutions and a service that people trust.
The RoleAs Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business growth by developing relationships with schools, academies, and trusts. This is a front-end, sales-focused role, with clear ownership of new business activity and performance.
You will work closely with the recruitment team to ensure new partnerships are supported with a high-quality, consistent service.
- Proactively identifying, targeting, and winning new school and trust partnerships
- Building strong relationships through meetings, visits, and ongoing engagement
- Managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through to agreement and onboarding
- Representing Heart of Supply professionally in the local education market
- Working collaboratively with consultants to ensure smooth handover and delivery
- Maintaining accurate records of activity, pipelines, and outcomes
- Contributing ideas and insight to support wider business growth and strategy

What We're Looking For- Proven business development or sales experience (recruitment, education, B2B, or service-led sales)
- Confidence opening new conversations and building relationships from scratch
- A consultative, professional approach to sales
- Strong organisation and pipeline management skills
- Resilience, drive, and the ability to stay focused on long-term goals
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- A full UK driving licence (regular school visits across Lincolnshire)
Experience with in education recruitment is advantageous but not essential. What matters most is passion, confidence, and relationship-building ability.
