Part-Time Accounts Assistant

Location: Lincolnshire

20 hours per week | Immediate start

A family-run engineering business based in a rural location in between Newark and Grantham are looking for a part-time Accounts Assistant to join the accounts team, working closely alongside the Company Accountant and an existing Accounts Assistant.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, with an immediate start required.

You will support the accounts function across a busy, project-driven engineering environment. The projects range from 12 months to 10 years in duration, so strong attention to detail and confidence working with data is essential.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Cost vs revenue analysis across multiple projects (Excel-based)

· Order processing

· Monitoring and reporting on stock levels

· General accounts support and administration

· Working closely with the wider accounts team to support day-to-day operations

About You

· Previous experience working in accounts is essential

· Excellent Excel skills – including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and confident data analysis

· Comfortable working with large spreadsheets and financial data

· Highly organised with strong attention to detail

· Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently

· Must have your own transport due to our rural location

Hours & Flexibility

· 20 hours per week

· Must work 4 hours every day, Monday to Friday

· Flexible start times to suit you (e.g. 9am–1pm, 10am–2pm, etc.)
