The Onsite Supervisor is responsible for the overall coordination and management of temporary employees at the client's location. This role serves as the primary point of contact for hiring managers and Human Resources to identify staffing needs, coordinate recruiting efforts, and ensure proper support services are provided. The Onsite Supervisor also provides emergency staffing support when needed.
Duties and Responsibilities- Include, but are not limited to:
- Submit qualified candidates to client hiring authorities
- Recruit and interview candidates
- Coordinate drug screenings and background checks; complete new hire paperwork
- Conduct safety walkthroughs, audits, and inspections
- Organize and maintain documentation and files
- Follow up with supervisors to ensure staffing needs are met
- Review and verify daily worked hours
- Attend company meetings as requested
- Ensure employee needs are met (PPE, safety training, department training, etc.)
- Pick up and distribute checks to supervisors and employees
- Update payroll sheets and new associate information in the system
- Review and monitor associate availability
- Recommend performance evaluations to managers, supervisors, and leads
- Conduct safety meetings and orientations (including safety videos)
- Review client expectations and requirements with associates
- Track employee headcount and hours worked (daily/weekly)
- Verify forklift certifications are current and ensure certification of new operators
- Supervise and provide support to associates and leads as needed
- Monitor associate attendance
- Assist with replacement or termination of assignments when necessary
- Investigate and complete injury reports for work-related incidents
- Ensure payroll hours are accurately entered to prevent invoice issues
- Verify payroll accuracy and resolve missing punches with employees and clients
- Prepare payroll reports and submit to corporate by Tuesday each week
- Prepare weekly attendance reports
- Attend safety and safety committee meetings
