As a Post Release Services (PRS) Family Reunification Regional Supervisor, you will be primarily responsible for the successful administration and management of duties across the case management staff within the Post Release and Family Reunification program. This individual is also responsible for overseeing and maintaining consistency with professional standards, contract regulations, and National Office expectations.
The individual in this position should promote a quality of care culture that staff should provide to the families and children served. This individual is also responsible for assessing trending patterns to include training gaps for staff as well as provide innovative sustainability to peers across the offices. This position will be trained in trauma informed care to provide support to the staff in case collaboration and consultation for effective service to children and families.
This position is expected to function effectively with limited supervision while following the guidelines given on procedures, along with agency, federal, and state regulatory requirements.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Attend project team, staff, local, and national meetings that will enhance provision of services to unaccompanied minors and their families;
- Direct, train, and develop case management and lead case management staff within the program;
- Promote effective operations through hiring, training, and orientation of new hires;
- Conduct individual supervision and monthly team meetings with all direct reports;
- Conduct monthly group supervision to review changed policies, issues or concerns from record reviews or data system reviews, and implement new procedural changes;
- Submit weekly case capacity, reports, and trending data to Headquarters staff to maintain and ensure consistency of caseloads and flow of work to the families in the community;
- Review all submitted reports and home studies to provide feedback and corrections within the defined deadline timeframe, while ensuring that all reports are submitted to the contractor through the data portal in compliance with contractor and agency quality and time requirements;
- Supervise the provision of Level One (1) and Level Two (2) PRS. They may advise on the services provided under Level Three (3) PRS;
- Cultivate an environment where program staff model positive adult behaviors, while also nurturing youth and families, while providing structure, support, and respect;
- Participate in the preparation of the annual budget, goals, and objectives for this program by collaborating with the National VP team for Refugee and Immigrant Services;
- Receive and process intake and referrals, while distributing case assignments in a fair and equitable manner;
- Oversee all Tier 3 sites within their assigned region to include assigning cases, coordinating flyouts, and ensuring resources are available in states with clients to support staff;
- Oversee the collaboration between the local and national office staff to ensure open communication and referrals are being assigned accurately and accepted in a timely manner;
- Develop, update, and maintain the program operating manuals;
- Ensure program operations and services are consistent with the established agency, state, federal, and licensing standards and requirements;
