Data Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Architect in Lincoln, RI.

Responsibilities:

* Data Architect will translate the vision, goals, and business requirements for data analytics projects or products into clear technical specifications

* Designs fit-for-purpose data solutions using appropriate architectural design patterns that support business needs

* Provides direction for data architecture design, planning, and development, including guidance for future updates and enhancements

* Brings a strong blend of IT, data governance, analytics, and creative problem-solving skills

* As a Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the next generation of the data ecosystem

* Leads the operationalization of high-priority data and analytics initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

* 3-4 years of experience in data management (integration, modeling, architecture, quality)

* Experience across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments

* Strong understanding of business systems, processes, and their impact on data and analytics

* Knowledge of BI, data engineering, data science, and data governance platforms

* Familiarity with data architecture frameworks, metadata models, and structured/unstructured data

* Proficiency in relational and non-relational databases and SQL

* Skilled in applying software engineering and Dev Ops principles to data platforms

* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills

* Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and apply them to business needs

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
